Kikiwaka is the best place on Earth. It's where all my friends are, old and new.
Matteo to the Camp Kikiwaka Open House crowd.

The paths of the Camp Kikiwaka Campers and those of the Baxter-Carter-Grayson Fam, began to converge when Raven Baxter offered a no expense trip to their neighbor Tess O'Malley, to her week-long basketball program at Camp Champion, when her initial travel plans with her dad fell apart. At Nia's suggestion, the original simple drop off Scüt ride to Maine, was expanded into a full family vacation. However, Booker and Levi insist on the condition that Raven not pick up any additional Scüt passengers during the journey. Exchanging a quick glance with Chelsea, Raven amends her offer to a some expense trip instead. After a twenty hour drive, the rest of the group had fallen asleep, but a tiring Raven doggedly turned into the first camp sign she saw, before succumbing to slumber herself. However, she had fallen short of the Camp Champion destination, actually arriving across the lake at their oldest rival, Camp Kikiwaka. The protagonists of their own Disney Channel Original Series, Bunk'd, the campers are listed here in the order they were encountered by the various members of the Fam.

Campers[]

Lou Hockhauser[]

Morning Campers, and guests who have promised not to press charges.
Lou to the Camp Kikiwaka breakfast crowd.

Louella "Lou" Dorcas Hockhauser was the owner and Camp Director of Camp Kikiwaka. Lou was surprised one morning to discover a Scüt vehicle parked in the spot reserved for the camp bus. Upon investigating, she discovered that the car, containing the combined Baxter-Carter-Grayson Fam, had meant to go to Camp Champion to deliver their friend, Tess for her week of basketball camp. After introducing herself, and Camp Kikiwaka, Lou explained the other camp was across the lake. This caused Tess to slip out, intending to swim the rest of the way, but Lou, well versed to the potential unpleasant properties of that particular body of water, advises against that action, claiming to have seen things within that she can never unsee. Lou then mentions that she is currently quite busy, as she is planning an open house to increase registrations for the camp next summer. Hearing this, the other young girl from the car sees the opportunity to be only across the lake from her best friend, and asks if Lou could use some more help. Her brother objects, but under threat of a week cooped up at home watching nature documentaries, instead introduces himself, as Booker Baxter-Carter, and his twin sister Nia, and offers their services as camp counselors. Lou is amenable to the idea, but requires permission from their mother. The driver confers with her friend in the passenger seat, who calls out to her own son, Levi. The boy answers from the branches of a tree above them, having apparently managed to climb there on his own, noting that it smells like the spray they use during the holidays. Lou identifies it as pine, and declares that Levi could really use some time at camp. After the mothers ascertain that Kikiwaka does have beds, cellphones, and lifeguards, they indicate their decision by immediately tossing out all the kids' luggage out of the vehicle in a wild fashion. The mothers swiftly drive away, leaving their kids in Lou's care, who has to take a sidestep to avoid being struck by the final spinning bag left in the wake of their departure. Later that afternoon, during the knot tying class, Nia approaches Lou and tells her she can't find her brother, Booker, who has apparently gone on a "snipe" hunt. Lou confronts the Grizzly counselor, Noah, who verifies that he told how snipe determined the counselor pecking order at the camp but Lou reveals that snipes do not exist. Nia became worried that Booker was alone in the woods, but Levi who was enjoying the class, said that Booker took their new cabin mate, Finn, with him. Lou then declares a Code Red, indicating that a camper is missing. Lou is still organizing the search when an anxious Nia approaches again and reveals that she and Booker are twins. Lou assures Nia that her staff is very familar with the woods, and tells Noah and Ava to find Booker before the open house. After the counselors leave, Nia asks if Booker will be found, and Lou tells her that everyone will do their best to locate Booker. As the pair exit the mess hall, Nia voices concern that Booker won't be found. Lou says her campers know all the local places, and that unless he went into the "Forbidden Forest" Booker should be fine. Nia notes that the area sounds kind of ominous, but points out that at least Booker is with Finn. Lou, who happens to be Finn's cousin, and is well aware of his odd idiosyncracies, candidly admits that Booker would probably be better off alone.
