Dr. Lin Chen is the mother of Ivy Chen. She is a resident of San Francisco, a podiatrist that runs her own clinic, as well as Victor Baxter's backyard neighbor. She is currently running for a position on the San Francisco City Council.
She is portrayed by Ann Hu.

The Chens are Victor's backyard neighbors.
The Chens have a dog named "Bunion", she is being sent to obedience school, as it is feared the voting public is put off by her naughty behavior.
Her husband is a lawyer.
The Chens have a Koi pond.
Ivy first mentioned her parents as always working late when she was younger in Retreat Yourself.
Ivy revealed her mother was a podiatrist in The Grand Booker-Pest Hotel.
Raven asks her to remove a derelict car from in front of the Baxter home in Ain't That a Sidekick in the Head.
She attempts "Prospector Pete's Great Escape" with Raven and Mariana Flores.
Before "Ivy" and "Cami" were split off from the original character "Jamilla," her mother "Nancy" was intended to have also been a main character, but the name was not retained for Ivy's mother.
