  • When Tess steals Booker's sandwich, she is actually getting back at him for doing the exact same thing to her in Level Up.

Trivia[]

  • This episode was filmed on January 31, 2020, the fourth episode shot with a live audience for the season.
  • The title is a play on the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother. Frequent That's So Raven guest star David Henrie ("Larry") actually played one of the implied kids being referenced.
  • Devon and Garrett are mentioned.
  • Levi was going to be named "Vlad" (after Vlad Tepes, the historical despot that inspired Bram Stoker's Dracula) before he was born, but when Chelsea and Garrett saw his face, they decided to name him Levi.

  • Levi is the second offspring to dye hair to black on a Disney Channel show. The first was Riley Matthews from Girl Meets World during the episode Girl Meets Yearbook.
  • In the original script:
    • Raven jokes that Devon wanted to call Nia "Neon."
    • Sasha admits to hiding times tables on her nails.
    • Sasha leases a car and is currently waiting on the mail for her third driver's license as she "lost" the previous ones because her pictures were "crazy" and is using a temp.
    • Sasha bought special cotton candy scented air fresheners.
    • Booker has a different vision of Nia stating "She's just not cool. I'm sorry." and accuses Nia of being "a harsh snob." This drives Nia to prove to Booker and Tess that she can get along with Sasha.
    • Raven has a dropped subplot concerning a "cursed" glossy velour high school jacket she got from a "Steve Neely" in the past,
    • Sasha enters the bookstore scene carrying two cups of coffee, and offers Nia a "Pro tip": order a latte and when it arrives, then claim to have originally ordered a mochaccino, the server says no worries, and lets you have the first one free as a BOGO.
    • When Nia questions the move, Sasha claims she also bought over priced mints for $2.50.
    • Sasha has passes for a "Street Festival" rather than Flavor Fest.
    • Sasha wants to buy a toy cat that "poops jellybeans."
    • Sasha uses her phone to access a cheat site for Animal Farm spoilers.
    • Saying "Oopsie," Sasha spills coffee on a book and just dabs it off before placing it back on a shelf with a grin.
    • Raven disposes of the "cursed" glossy velour high school jacket by giving it to Nia to wear, thus ending the Steve Neely curse by passing the jacket to the next generation.
    • Booker and Tess hide in the bushes near the festival gates to spy on Nia and Sasha.
    • Sasha says she wants to buy "spiced chicken slabs between two glazed donuts," after they get the passes.
    • Sasha wants Nia to hide Raven's jacket in the backpack and pulls out the purloined purse.
    • As Nia and Sasha fight over the purse, Booker tells Tess he hasn't seen Nia that mad since "the braid incident of 2010" regarding a pair of safety scissors when they were five.
    • Tess wants to step in, but Booker wants to let Nia handle the situation, and Tess notes the handle/purse pun.
    • Jamie was the source of Sasha's festival passes, as his older brother was in a band named "Toxic," that was playing during the event.
    • When Jamie met Sasha, he was with another character named "Simone," who were both older than Sasha.
    • When the Security Guard arrives, Booker and Tess move in, while the guard admires the velour jacket, Booker thinks she is about to frisk Nia.
    • The Security Guard calls Nia "Glossy Velour." after giving the purse back to her.
    • Nia says the line in Booker's vision, and Booker and Tess have to admit that Nia was right all along when saying that Sasha was shady.
