Leonard Stevenson was a resident of San Francisco who was also Victor Baxter's longtime nemesis since culinary school. Chef Leonard is the owner and head chef of the Hill Grill restaurant.
He was played by James McCauley.
History[]
Chef Leonard also settled in San Francisco. Initially, he gained fame by starring in Captain Cook-Off's Kitchen Challenge, a competitive cooking show where he battled top chefs, as Captain Cook-off, with his daughter Julie, serving as his sous chef, Gourmet Girl. He won every match, earning the right to wear the Kitchen Challenge Championship belt. He ultimately decided to challenge his old rival, Victor Baxter, although it was his daughter, Raven Baxter, who actually accepted. However, Leonard lost the title when Victor prevailed in their televised stuffed Mackerel match. The show was cancelled shortly afterwards. Chef Leonard eventually opened up a rival restaurant next to The Chill Grill, named The Hill Grill. However, the place closed after a few weeks, and he relocated to Hawaii to create a cooking show with models. Eventually, Leonard returned to San Francisco while Victor was serving as the head White House Chef under President Martinez, and he reestablished The Hill Grill in a new venue. When Victor returned from Washington D.C., they resumed their professional rivalry.
