Trivia[]
- This episode was filmed on December 7, 2018.
- This episode continues the story started in the episode Friend-Ship.
- The episode title is a play on the expression "lost at sea".
- A cardboard cut-out of Chelsea from her time as the schmop's spokesperson (as depicted in Vending the Rules) was seen.
- Devon Carter was mentioned.
- The kids ape the "Kevin McCallister" character from Home Alone when they say they are "Boat Alone".
- Tess claims that Chris Pratt is everyone's favorite "Chris," referencing the fact that several contemporary movie stars (particularly Disney/Marvel ones) share the first name of Chris.
- It is implied the group did visit the Statue of Liberty, while in NYC, after all.
- Homeland Security is mentioned; this is the first confirmation in Disney Channel history that the events of 9/11 happened.
- In this episode, neither Raven nor Booker have visions, making this the second time after Sleevemore Part Three: Future.
- Despite the name "Smith" being clearly seen on his uniform, the Captain was only credited as "Coast Guard Captain Rob". It is possible that his full name is Rob Smith.
- Robert Curtis Brown is familiar to Disney Channel viewers as "Mark Kar" in Zenon: The Zequel, "Mr. Vance Evans" in High School Musical 2 & 3, as well as an appearance as "Mr. Peters" on "The Amazing Krupnick" episode of Kickin' It.
- Raven’s phone should not have had service as they were in the middle of the sea.
- In the original script:
- In a cut scene, Bailey knocked on the stateroom door looking for Chelsea, as the kids hid.
- Chelsea dropped the lipstick in the ocean, causing Raven to ask, "Why do you hate me?"
- Tess quoted a different Mother Commandment: "The day you are the most tired, is the day they want to plat with you."
- Levi told Bailey that the Baxter twins were animatronic mannequins.
- According to Chelsea, Raven had sworn never to die on anything inflatable.
